Thimo series[1]


THIMO SERIES

      They're novels written by Duangatwan since 2001 and still ongoing. The first thing you have to know about this series is 'Thimo isn't real country', Duangtawan wrote these books using Thimo as the scene, every thing happen in that country, at least relate to it, she build her own world compose of culture, language, geography, people and event it's so fantastic and realistic.

   Thimo is the star-shaped island located [I think] in tropical area because it doesn't has snow.Thimo is democratic country but before A.D.2001 it's ruled by the monarchy.

   North of Thimo called Risht or Rishta, it's the area that Chawee, local people of Thimo live in three thoudsand years ago.

   There is mountain ranges spread from the north to the west and the east called Don Raiwan.Mounta in the north is the highest peak called Don Raiwan originate from Rishta down to Karena middle part of Thimo, where they use for agriculture such as grow rice, flowers and fruits.

   In the mountain range that spread to the west called Kecheree. In ancient time, people who lived here will be considered cruel cause of they had to fight against dangerous things such as wild animals and low temperature than others area.

   Down from Kecheree to the west is called Monet or Moneta, It has beautiful beach with sunshine and good for fishery, in contrast, east of Thimo which called Oja or Alanja has fjords and rainy all the year, it's illegal area which ruled by mafia, they believe in friendship more than anything, if someone is their friend they will protect him with all their life, it's a tradition since long time ago.

   Alas or Alagas located in the south. It's the only part has no mountain around so it become commercial area and capital city since three thoudsand years ago. With the geography, Kreeramo royal family settled down here after Chawee settled down in Rishta. They ruled all over the country and took important part in destroy and develop Thimo.
